Sound @ 1:30

This specific noise appears quite a lot in progressive house tracks, and I've never really thought about what it is. Sounds like a heavily detuned tom maybe, but I'm assuming it's a dblue effect, can anyone maybe let me know what it is if they know exactly what it is.

Hate to be a bother, but anyone?

Okay... it's also similar to the sound at 1:44 right before the chorus in Animal Kingdom - Strange Attractor (Dzeko & Torres Remix)

I don't really know how you would go about making that from scratch, but I'm 99% sure there are similar impact effects in the Vengeance packs.

Oh guys...c'mon.

It's a pitch automated sine wave. If you're used to making your own kicks, have it start lower, and automate the pitch to an even lower tone. Stretch it over time. Done and done.

Both of these were really helpful, thank you Puusti and usama.
