Using my iPad for live vocal effects processing

I'd like to use my iPad 3 for live vocal effects processing. I've never used my iPad for live music and would appreciate your guidance. TIA! :-)

The setup is: two mics into the iPad, vocal audio run through an iPad app that lets me build a chain of a few effects (delay, eq, chorus, reverb, that kind of thing), stereo out from iPad to PA mixer.

- What cables/interfaces do I need to create this setup?
