Can I run 6.3, for the UAD-2, and 6.1 for the UAD-1,at the same time?

you can. there's an unoffical work around on the uad forum, it involves editing one of the key files to run later than 6.1 software on the uad-1 platform at the same time as running uad-2. 100% not supported by UAD though.
