I am a new user on the 30 day performer. I cannot seem to get the audio routing correct despite reading through numerous forum topics. What I am trying to do seems fairly simple but I can't get the configuration/master bus assignments to work.
I am trying using Cantable for live guitar VST effects. I will be using no VST Instruments/synths.
I have a 4 in 4 out USB sound card.
I basically want a separate loop coming in and going out on my sound card through input output #3 that will go to my main amp.
Then I want to process another separate loop coming in my sound card on line #4 and will go out the sound card #1 and #2 to a separate set of stereo amps for spatial effects like reverb and delays.
I can achieve this and it works except in the following situation:
I want the separate loop to the main amp to go through a pitch change VST to change the tuning down or up be a few steps (no dry signal) AND this signal to be sent to the stereo loop to be processed with reverb. I can get the first part OK, the main amp comes out pitch changed with no dry signal, but no matter what I do, the stereo effect loop contains the pitch changed signal plus the dry signal, both processed by the reverb.
Anyone out there who can offer suggestions I would really appreciate it as I am about 1/2 way through the 30 trial.

Have you familiarized yourself with the Tools>Audio Out dropdown which is available to each plugin in a rack?
If not, check it out, and also check out how to route from one plugin to another using Cantabile's Assign Audio Channels functions - available from Audio Engine Options> Assign Audio Channels options.
You will see that Cantabile has 32 internal digital busses. In combintation with the Tools dropdown on each plug in, you can send anything - anywhere.
There are some hoops to jump through in some cases though... and although this link pertains to multi out VSTi, it may well help you in your task:
