Hello, I havent been on this in years so I figure I will do a proper intro.

I live in dallas and am a multi-instrumentalist that has been building my studio over the past 15 years. I was a PC guy but have really been into the Mac side for the past 2 years. I was a die-hard cubaser but now I love Logic.

I am looking to improve my mixing and mastering abilities.

I produced, mixed and mastered my bands CD The 1969s - I Am The Road. It was very, very challenging. I am somewhat happy with it but feel it could be better. I spent tons of hours on it.

I originally started it in cubase SX recording all instruments live with cheap - decent mics. Then I ported it all over to Logic and re-recorded all guitars direct. I left the vocals like they were in cubase but cleaned them up in Logic. I mixed and mastered it in logic pro.

I am now sifting through this site trying to gain all the info I can on the best Mastering plugins. Any advice would be great.

nice to meet you, and that's a cool studio :)

and for the mastering plugin as far as I know, Izotope ozone is the all-in-one solution..but expensive..there's a 10 days demo version of both basic and advanced versions
