Does anyone know of a midi utility that will allow me to input note legnth as ms (with up to 4 decimal place accuracy if possible)
And allow me to export the midi file for use in a sequencer (logic pro 9)
Basically I want to be able to type in 487.4468 ms and have the note length created/adjusted accordingly .
(1 note, starting at the beginning of the file, any pitch, with the length of XX.XXX milliseconds at 128 bpm.)
I haven't found a way to do this in logic without performing some kind of conversion to samples or smpte.
I'm conducting some rhythm experiments and I have a great number of note duration values in ms and I really dread having to covert each one
