Well...I was hoping for a real update. Retina display my ass. It is still blurry, except the fonts.
And it's still seperated apps between iPhone and iPad, means the soundpacks have to be purchased twice.

Post

Holy freakin' update Batman!
This is the best update of an app ever. Dang!

I know!!! A battery charge indicator- it's what I was waiting for!!!

Very cool! Audiobus has definitely taken off. It's becoming the new vst standard for the iPad. I think Steinberg missed the opportunity to create the standard.

Try the 4 track recorder...
Basic, but with essential features and ease of use that everyone else should adapt.

Not to mention Audiobus. But the update, and the 4 track recorder is much cooler than the Audiobus integration.

Yeah nice one and thanks for the scale lock.

I like that recorder with a loop setting per track, it's a long time I was hoping for this, something between live and a linear daw. 8)

Post

Yes. Can't wait to try the recorder. What was there before was a bit lacking.

I do not see the new in app purchases on my ipads (2nd generation) .... hmmm ... what am I doing wrong? or, what they did wrong?

Post

So can you load up a project comfortably with audiobus?

Ahh this is where I realize I probably should have forked out full instead of running my already purchased iPhone version on my iPad ... No update :(

The 4 Track recorder is included, or free, for a limited time.
(I don't know if that means it disappears after this free period, and you have to buy it to get it back, or if it means it's included if you buy Animoog in this period.)
Yesterday I could see the new sound pack in the store, but today it's gone.

I think that you're wright I'm afraid... 4 Track recorder is a "teaser" and will vanish from our iPads after 30 days of use.

The update states:
New 4-Track recorder (for iPad 2 or above)- Now you can record, edit, loop, import from iTunes and export to Soundcloud all from within the Animoog world. As a gift to Animoog users, the 4-Track recorder is completely free through Dec 31, 2012.

So it's free for the rest of the month. AFter that, you have to buy it if you don't already have it. At least, my assumption.

And how cool is this:
