Can anyone help please?

i adore Beatmaker 2 but I need myself a tactile control device, so I'm looking to get a mpd or better a mikro. However, can I use them as a midi interface for BM2?

I have an ipad 4, camera kit usb adaptor.

So would it be a case of plugging the mikro for example into the lightning ca,era kit usb and it work?
