Hey guys. Firstly I'm just getting into music production, bare with me.
I've finally been able to get into a decent store that supply's these speakers so I had the chance to listen to them all today, they are all great speakers.
I could write paragraph after paragraph but here is some key points I found during the demo's I got with these monitors.
A7X - Bass seemed decent, clarity of vocals not as good as the A5X or the SC205
A5X - Decent all round speaker
EVE SC205 - Found these to be a little bit better then the A5X's in all area's, especially vocally.
My room that I will be using the gear is 2.7mx3m.
With such a small room am I really in need of the A7X's?
If I was to get either of the EVE SC205's or the ADAM A5X's by turning up the bass on the monitor itself would that effect my mixing because the default specs of the monitor have been changed? How would this effect my final product when listening back onto normal speakers? Should I be expecting to much bass in the final product? Hopefully that makes sense.
Cheers.

It will affect your mixes if you neglect to compare the results to a reference mix with a well mixed commercial release of a similar style. By making the comparison, you will be able to tell very easily if your own bass is too loud or too soft (etc.). Having great speakers doesn't automatically mean a good mix, it's still necessary to compare the results on different speaker systems.by turning up the bass on the monitor itself would that effect my mixing because the default specs of the monitor have been changed?
It is possible to create a great mix on poor speakers, if you know the speakers and room really well. Of course, it helps to have better speakers because it makes mixing easier, more pleasurable, and less fatiguing: since updating my monitors "ear fatigue" has not been happening at all, where as I used to notice it every day.
Purchasing new speakers is always a bit tricky because we generally can't afford multiple sets so the decision is final - but if you put enough time in listening to music you know really well in the store one pair will "speak" to you more than the others.
You should definitely look in to treating your room as well, though. It's an added expense but will bring the best out of which ever monitors you choose. A bit of DIY brings the cost down considerably (by a factory of 10 depending on which materials you use). Bass traps are pretty easy to make.
Peace,
Andy.

Thanks for the feedback.
Anyone got opinions on the monitors themselves and if the a7x's would be to big for a 3x3 room?
I've been told to go the EVE SC205 for my room deminsion.
I've been told that I would need to turn the A7X's up a lot more then the EVE SC205's to get a better measure of the bass in the ADAM's. Is this true in my case of room size?
People with any of these speakers.. your input and room dimension would be good to hear.
Cheers.
