man... this is tragic... just a day after the kit was out his web hosting company totally shut him out... none of the older instruments are available either... (70GB download in a day!) hez desperate in looking for an alternative...

I don;t get it... There was a link in a recent thread about sharing RMIV drumkits. I followed it and downloaded the whole 73MB of the ns7kit without a problem. The other instruments are there, too.

the kit was online for bout 36hrs... and then the hostin company cranked up... now all of it is down...

im not familier with that thread.. where did u download the kit from ...???

Yes, I know the site is down, I been there and read the anouncement. But do follow the link in my previous post, and see where it gets you. As I am at work, I don't know what it is I downloaded, or if it is any different from the previous version, I just know I downloaded a 73MB file named ns7kit.zip. Will check it during the weekend though.

I dunno... copyright still applies however the material is obtained (just because a program is distributed, legally or illegally, on P2P, does NOT make it public domain). If Doug wanted to, it would not weaken his copyright to allow distribution via specific P2P systems... Bittorrent is ideal for this sort of thing.
