This is such a newbie question - I'm wondering if there are any classes I could take to help me understand how to compose electronic dance music or remix songs? I really would like to learn everything I need to know so i have the tools and knowledge on what I'm doing, music theory behind it, the buidling blocks for various genres of EDM (mainly house, electro house, trance).. So far, I've gotten some decent training from tutorials on youtube (e.g. bass, complextro, rise, managing presets/certain sounds, features of logic pro, etc).. It's been a bit helpful - the videos that is. but there's only so much I could get from checking whatever tutorials i can. Are there any classes they could better advance me in EDM, so i understand bit by bit? I'm sure, they're most likely going to be online. i have no problem with that. Unless the exist locally where I'm from, and I just haven't explored what's out there yet. idk. figuring out how do i approach this..
Thank you.

groove3 have a 30 day all access pass for $10 today
On it, theres a couple of good videos about producing house in the ableton live section. Ignoring the fact that he uses Live, I found these quite good at going through the basics and can be applied to any host.
