i already own Magellan for iPad but i'm not very happy with the user interface.Especially with the"two synths in one" concept, the fiddly sequencer and the crammed UI.And there are just a lot of things i don't need and they keep me away from creating own sounds.But i like the interface of the small brother and the question is:how does it look on an iPad?Just half size of the screen?Or is the resolution unusable and too pixelated?
When i open the pictures in the itunes store it still looks good (even on my retina display),so is this the look i can expect when i purchase it?
Might be a dumb question but i never bought an iphone only app before.

When you run an iPhone app on the iPad, there is a little 2x button on the iPad screen to make the app window larger. This makes the app feel much nicer to use. This doesn't necessarily pixelate the image, but tends to give a blurry, less-detailed image. If you have a retina iPad, I think these take advantage of the retina version inside of the iPhone app which make things look pretty good.

I have Magellan Jr and it looks good on my iPad 3. Not retina sharp but entirely useable. It is only slightly fuzzy. Barely perceptible, in fact. Go for it!

okay,i'll get this one later.I even think about purchasing other iphone apps (that i already own for ipad) as well.I love that big knob style
That's the main problem i have with many apps.A touchscreen is the perfect interface for faders....and they make knobs,knobs and again...knobs.The smaller the better (yes,i'm looking at you rebirth...).
