I cant see it happening until Apple allow IOS to have the ability for proper plugins. They don't allow it for so called security reasons.

I could maybe see Logic for iOS happening in conjunction with Logic 10 for the Mac, whenever that happens. It would be a great selling point if they had a companion iOS app.
I'd buy it for sure. I love that Auria can export to different DAWs, including Logic. But I won't buy it because it doesn't have midi.

That would be nice. I think all their future apps should have a companion app made available on either iPad or iPhone/iPod touch. Not to say that there hasn't been some nice creations for control, but it seems like it's always a bit of gamble whether or not the controlling app will function as you hope it will.the_s_rabbit wrote:I could maybe see Logic for iOS happening in conjunction with Logic 10 for the Mac, whenever that happens. RIght now for FCPX, I have two different apps for controlling it, and really I wish I could combine them both for the functionality I need. I hope Logic X will be a different story.
Hell, I wish all DAW developers would release their own companion app. L9 is out and I have to say I'm being inpatient about updates for TouchAble and the new LiveControl 2 for Lemur.

There is a TouchOSC iPad template controller for Logic 9 right now.
