We all know "user1234567" (or whatever number after user) are spam accounts, but I still tend to click through out of habit. Not any more after today's which had obvious c***d p**n as its avatar. Couldn't believe my eyes. I'm still shaking here!

So yeah, resist the temptation to click through. I always did so out of muscle memory/habit whenever the icon at the top of my page lit up, but not any more. Just a heads up to anyone else who does the same. Resist the temptation and just wait for the account to be deleted.

Is this something posted at KVR, or just at SC? If it's here, name names and I or another mod will be glad to banhammer the miscreants and delete their leavings. You probably know there's a spam reporting thread in Site Stuff -- so I'm guessing this is about SC, not KVR, but figure it's best to ask just in case.

Happened to me too @ soundcloud. Actual pron. Thought it may have been a visual illusion at first, but it definitely wasn't.

Weird thing was some legit soundcloud musicians were following back. After 3 hours the account disappeared.

Anyway, it's not like naked pictures would traumatise me, just a bit surprised at people following them.

Yeah, it's just a Soundcloud thing. Spam there is mercifully rare (only about 5 spam followers in my year or two there), but didn't expect the 5th to be... that. Man...

I've calmed down a bit now. Still can't look at my recent activity there because of the bloody thumbnail of it though.

I was followed by about 5 of these account holders last summer. SoundCloud are usually very quick to suspend and delete the accounts, but it does mess up your follower count unless you contact them to get the database fixed.

I never did find a way to stop people following me on Soundcloud, is there a way? I don't have an account there now but at the time i couldn't figure out how to delete people.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that you can't get rid of followers. The old design had a 'report' button if I remember rightly, but I couldn't even find that and didn't particularly want to hang around the profile looking for it. The profile is gone now.
