Hi,

Thanks for the upload, but... I tried to instal it on Ubuntu but it is alerting me that the package is of bad quality with this warning
Lintian check results for /tmp/CYTHAR-Sequenzer_0.1.4.10-1_amd64.deb:
E: cythar-sequenzer: maintainer-address-malformed ubu1204 <ubu1204@ubu1204-VirtualBox>
I am using Ubuntu 13.04 64bits and I downloaded the "CYTHAR-Sequenzer_0.1.4.10-1_amd64.deb "

I didn't installed it so no feedback at this time, but it seems interesting.

Hi,

I have only written a RPM package script and converted the rpm-package to .deb and .tgz with alien on a virtual ubuntu. This was only the easiest way ;-) - is this a problem for you? I will write a debian script for the next release.

I just listened to/watched the drumset 1 video. There was a lot of moving items around and rearranging things but the sounds did not vary much at all. It pretty much sounded like the same thing over and over again without much variation.

Video 2 sounded just like video 1 with some chords over it. I imagine this sequencer can do a lot more than what you are showing. Will try it.

Where's Rebeca? I couldn't locate her.

You are right. This is a very simple drumset based only on one bar and some muted times. But you can program more complex pattern by using 2, 4, 8 or 16 bars (or 7 or...).

The next video will show how to use 'bar chaining' - bar chaining you will need for more complexity.

Video 2 is with the drumset from video 1 and a second pattern for the chords.

And you are right again. If you not use only one bar the sequencer is more complex (i working on more tutorial videos).
EDIT: load and have a look on the preset-B - this is a bit more complex and it's using bar chaining

Have a look at manual page 23. It's german, but there is a screenshot from the rebeca editor. (http://www.cythar.sequenzer.org/downloa ... df#page=24)

ReBeCa = Repeat be careful

This looks like it could be a very cool sequencer but I'm not really sure what it's doing or how it's doing it at the moment. Might have to wait for an English translation manual (or some more informative vids) before I take the plunge.

Some more vids will follow this week. English manual maybe next month (I'am not a good english writer so this take up a lot of time).
