Have read up a lot on this and seem to be hitting a lot of conflicting information.
I'm hoping somebody who owns one of the logitech or kensington trackballs can help me confirm something here.
If I want to scroll horizontally with say the m570's scrollwheel or one of the kensington scroll rings is it possible to set my computer to always scroll horizontally by default but also have the ability to scroll vertically when one of the trackball buttons is pressed simultaneously. I presume this is achievable with the manufacturers software (ie logitech's setpoint or kensington's trackball works) but some reviews I've read seem to suggest otherwise.
Also could anyone comment whether they have encountered any problems with their trackball in Windows 7.
Thanks in advance!

Guess I should visit this section of the forums more often... I have had the logitech wireless track ball for a while, never had any problems with it in windows 7. I haven't tinkered with the software ever, but I can give it a look if you haven't gotten an answer yet.

Thanks for the reply DJ. I'm actually now thinking of going for a wacom trackpad. Beginning to feel a bit of wrist pain (mainly mouse related!!) so figured it was time to switch from a conventional mouse. I do a lot of midi cc automation editing so I like the idea of being able to just draw it straight in.
