---Is anyone here using this for live use using an external midi controller? I really like the Emerge sounds and want to get them but I also liked the Nanostudio's Eden sounds too and bought NS and it's not very live friendly.
I would probably never use the drums but the band could really use those pads etc...
I haven't bought Beatmaker 2 and need some advice about how suitable it is for use live via midi and my iPad 2 with 64 gigs.
Thanks...

Scott, have you been over to the Intua forums yet? Check it out if you haven't. I'm not using BM2 live onstage, but I am mixing songs live with the drum sampler. It has input quantized settings and a little practice hitting pads and you can live mix your song. The drum sampler is a bit like an MPC and has choke groups, auto loop settings, fx busses that can be separately assigned, etc.
I don't use the sequencer much, just trigger pads in one shot or loop modes and flip banks on the fly. I'm using a padKontrol with mine via CCK and a power supply and audio out from iPad into a mixer. An alternative would be a USB controller with a powered hub if no option for power supply. PadKontrol can use either.
