There's a stray hash in the URL by the looks of it. Fixed in the quote.Orboscope wrote: http://soundcloud.com/halcion-1/tunnelvision
edit: could someone tell me why it doesnt link?
For that Massive Attack vibe, you probably want to cut the upper mids a bit and maybe use a bit more reverb on some of the elements. The noisy saw that kicks if off could potentially move into the background by making it more 'distant' through a bit of EQing and 'verb.
The lead at around :50 felt as though it could use a bit of portamento and played more legato. It felt jumpy at this point which IMHO didn't sit quite right. If it were me (and of course it isn't), I'd try to think of a way to develop the theme after the breakdown as it seems as though it's going to go somewhere but doesn't, maybe even just the cliche of raising the key a half step if nothing else suits.
Sounds good though.

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback. I think these are some great tips that actually help to develop the track, unless i screw up, lol.
I think, I tried reposting the link without the hash, but anyways, hope it works the next and thanks again for the review.
