Hi boys and girls,

Just to let you know, i'm in love .
What a girl that our Japanese friend Toda created.
Just don't my wife that i'm all night playing with her. I'll be dead meat!
:x  :-o :D :hihi:

I would like to start up this thread with some tips I found out.

So here I go:

Searching your database with 10k presets:

Use the list tool to create a list in every preset folder.
https://sites.google.com/site/synth1vst/tools
Index with windows. And search, set the preview pane open, to find more info.
It's not perfect, but if you search for a brass or piano, you know at least in what bank to go looking.

Just started a favorites preset bank and I'm up to 80 something already so this synth has a great many surprises in it waiting to be discovered. I've discovered that many from about 10 to 15 banks I've auditioned. So many more to go.

Ah yeah, this synth is great ! :-)
I've been surfing all nights long, through the 1000s of presets ! Great ! Yesterday night and the day before also, just cannot believe all the good sounds that are out there.
I had an eargasm last night, found the brass from Spandau Ballet, True. Mmmm nice and smooth, and with that analog detune in it.
The variety of the sound amazes me also. Even choirs and stabs in analog version!

I'm kinda doing like you, creating a best of bank, I will now redo the Factory Presets. I find it very handy have a GM bank. When you need that kinda sound, you just go to that GM number and have something to start with.
It won't be a rompler bank ofcourse but an Analog GM version.
My sounddesign: Synth1/Ex5/D-50 patches https://goo.gl/zE3pkk

I was messing around and used the very first patch in the factory and layered that with some string sounds in Dune and cakewalks studio instruments strings and it came out awesome the brassy sound adds to the strings in a very cool way. Was a very cool symphonic sound.
