Today I bought the iZotope Trash 2 UPGRADE from Time & Space which includes a free Edge Expansion Pack plus a free expansion due for release on 12th June. All for the bargain price of £35.95 . I received both the Trash2 and Edge Expansion Pack serial numbers from Time & Space within about 4 hours. I have authorised Trash2 with no problems. Simple. Download Trash 2 demo. Enter serial. Hit authorise. Trash 2 now registered to my iZotope account and no longer in demo mode. But how does one authorise the Edge Expansion Pack? There is no demo to download and authorise?

have you tried logging in to your account, and using the 'activate a product via a serial number' button via the 'activate software' page?

Yes, tried that whyterabbyt. It just brings up a page with details on how to authorise Trash 2 Edge. Problem is, to authorize it, you first need to install it! To be able to install it....well you know.....you need to have the download!!

I have sent the following, along with my iZotope account details, in an email to Time & Space Online Sales:-

You have given me the serial number for the FREE Edge expansion pack. Great. But what do I do with it? There is no download link for the Edge expansion pack on the internet from which I can then use the serial number to authorise. I have registered both Trash 2 and the Edge expansion pack to my iZotope account. iZotope do not supply a download link for the Edge expansion pack on their site.

I just can't believe that Time & Space would send out a serial number for a product without first checking that it can actually be downloaded. The Time & Space email sent to me with the serial numbers for Trash 2 and the Edge expansion pack had the following message:-

Please go to http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/t ... wnload.asp and download the latest version of the software.

That link takes you to the Trash 2 page on the iZotope site where you can download the Trash 2 demo and have a listen to audio samples of the Edge expansion pack. But there are no download links for the Edge expansion pack in demo or full form. I have registered the Edge expansion pack to my iZotope account but there is still no download link.

Can I be the only person who has bought the iZotope Trash 2 Upgrade with free Edge expansion pack from Time & Space, so am the only one who has ended up in this situation.......or am I just being stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid?!!

It's not just you! I am having the exact same problem! I sent an email to iZotope support saying that the product is activated but I cannot download it. I have not yet heard a response. How frustrating!

Thanks for letting me know urbster1.

I was geting so frustrated.

With both Time & Space and iZotope involved it's difficult to pinpoint who is to blame for this situation. It looks like Time & Space think that both Trash2 and the Edge expansion pack would be available to download from the iZotope site. But the Edge expansion is not available to download from anywhere - the only time you will get a download link is when you buy it and then get a download link from iZotope or whoever else you buy it from! Or at least you hope you would!

I contacted Time & Space Saturday to let them know the situation as I feel it is down to them to solve the problem as they are the ones who have caused it - not iZotope. I will let you know what happens.

Spoke to Martin at Time & Space Technical Support who was unaware of the problem. Martin sent me a download link within 15 minutes of me speaking to him and has advised that the problem has been solved. Martin has assured me that this problem will not arise with the release of the additional expansion pack on June 12th and that I will receive a download link for it.

I bought it from AudioDeluxe in November, and they gave me the following URLS:

Mac OS X installer (8 MB)
http://downloads.izotope.com/product_do ... _v1_00.dmg

Windows Installer (3 MB)
http://downloads.izotope.com/product_do ... _v1_00.exe

And before anyone freaks out, these are just the installers--you have to have a valid serial to be able to install them.

Received the download link and serial number today for the second expansion pack Trash 2 Classic Textures Expansion. Bargain.

How do you authorise the Edge Expansion Pack inc. with Trash 2 UPGRADE from Time & Space?
