Hi. Ive just installed the demo version of Cream and I'm attempting to use it in the legitimate version of FL Studio 11.

I have it open with notes running in its Piano Roll which are running fine in Cream- I can change presets fine- but I have no sound at all.

Other similar vsts are working as they should with sound.

It's not a RAM issue because the same happens if I have it running alone in FL as well. Graphics are smooth.

The only suspect I can see is an exclamation mark in a tiny red box at the top right of Cream, but i can't find any reference to it in the manual.

Someone help me please, this is doing my head in.
Thanks. :help:

cream does not output sound, only midi. Im not sure how you route midi from one plugin to another in FL but thats what you would have to do, route creams midi output to the midi input of a plugin that does make sound

Here is how I did it in FL Studio 10. Select "Channels -> Add One" and pick Kirnu Cream. You might have to select "More..." if Cream isn't in the list. Select "Channels -> Add One" and pick your favorite 3rd party plugin. I used Synth1.

Click Cream in the Channels window to show the Cream GUI. Then click the "gear" icon in the upper left corner. Set the "MIDI Output Port" to your favorite number. I picked 5.

Click the "gear" again to show the Cream GUI. Click Synth1 in the Channels window. Click the Synth1 "gear" icon and set the "MIDI Input Port" to the same number. I used 5 earlier, so I set it to 5.

Click the "gear" again to show the Synth1 GUI. Tweak Cream and Synth1 to your favorite settings.

When you start playing on your keyboard, make sure that Cream is the active row in the Channels window (see the first picture). If it isn't, Cream won't receive MIDI from your keyboard.

I don't use FL Studio much at all so I hope this will get you started.
