I have just purchased REASON 7. NI has Reaktor on sale for 99$. would it be worth purchasing or would I be able to achieve the same thing with Reason? I am new to computer recording so I may not be asking the right questions. Thanks

No you will get alot of things out of Reaktor that you might not be able to get out of Reason without RE devices.

Reaktor has a standalone, but you can also use it as a VST in a rewire program and use Reason alongside it.

Thank you for the input. I just did not want to inadvertantly double dip. I am also considering Razor with the purchase as well.

thanks for the info i am sold I will be getting both Reaktor and Razor for what seems like a steal.
