I want to let you know that Breezer 2013 beta is out. Breezer 2013 was built on Breezer 2012 foundations which means, REX file support, ASIO, WAVE metadata support, sample layering, batch player etc.

With this release in the works for about a year you'll find (the list is far from complete):
  • Hierarchical file tagging (a tag could have a parent and any number of child) and rating support
  • Keyboard gestures, for example drop a tag on a file selection or folder, with CTRL down you'll remove the tag, with shift you'll add the tag.
  • File operations, cut, copy, paste or via drag'n'drop using standard windows dialogs (file overwrite questions or conflict resolution)
  • No need to index, if you want you could pre scan your library, but if you want you can let Breezer to index only the files you're working/previewing.
  • Multiple databases support (for example one for work, one for experiment) and multi-user ready.
  • A standalone or integrated four-track layered player for experimenting sample layering directly.
  • New widgets for bpm, delay and note calculation, note guessing and more.
  • Waveform annotation support, click anywhere on the waveform view and add a text note at the right millisecond.
  • Fast and responsible GPU accelerated UI, support custom scaling since is fully vector graphic.
  • Many fixes and new procedure we build on top our Breezer 2012 experience.
  • Works with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8, support WASAPI drivers, 32 or 64 bits
  • And much… much… more…
But since a picture is worth thousand words:

For feature requests and bug reports we've set up a feedback centre (availabe at http://www.revel-software.it/feedbacks/home ) just for that. We're just out the private beta phase so please understand if something goes wrong with the installation or if the workflow is not as fluent as will be. Report to us any problem and we do our best to fix it.

Thank you for your time!

Conflict of interest note: I'm a developer working on it, so please understand my enthusiasm.
