i own an iPad 4 32gb and i want to take my ipad and do some live finger drumming performances using beatmaker 2 or impc, without having to buy a laptop. my fingers are starting to pain from hitting glass for hours, so im looking at purchasing an external controller like the quneo or the midi fighter 3D. anyone have any experience with either, or both, of these? specifically with an ipad and midi mapping it. i know i'll need a CCK along with a usb hub. any other tips or advice?
aesthetically, i think midi fighter 3D is pretty sick. but im not really trying to DJ, right now at least. so i don't know if that puts quneo on top.
i like the size of each, the size of the pads/ buttons, the LEDs, and i know both can be compatible with an iPad. i just don't know how easy and/ or hard to map them will be.
quneo vs. midi fighter 3D?

Ive never tried hooking my Quneo up to my iPad, but if you've got a PC or a MAC, every button/pad/slider etc on the Quneo can be quite extensively customised as regards what it sends out, and there are 16 switchable banks of settings.
I'd imagine that'd make it fairly easy to set up for specific iPad audio applications.
