I'm going to post my Demos of Alchemy Soundsets as I make them here..

Any others that use Alchemy with Patchpool and other sounds can contribute here as well!

When I first chose Alchemy Beyond shortly after getting Alchemy and after getting in on the Alchemy subscription series it was because I was interested in the material using strings as I haven't so much sample strings in my library.

So to discover whats on offer I've made a track using the string presets exclusively from Alchemy Beyond.

There are 9 instances of Alchemy 8 of which are played by 2 sequencers which are setup so that each step plays the next sound out of the 4 aavilable x 2.

Additionally one Alchemy sound the StringStab is played by three sequences, 2 in a 3 against 4 rythm and one plays a triplet figure.

I'm using one instance of u-he MFM 2 on one sound fed into one instance of Valhalla shimmer.

2 instances of u-he UHBIK A on the two groups of Sounds.. The Stabs rythms are dry.

Some auto fade on the stabs and manual fading in and out on the two groups of four sounds..

i really enjoyed both String pieces, very special arrangement technique and many unexpected things are happening although it does sound sequenced and repetitive, but in an interesting way. Very wadish stuff altogether :)

Thanks, I'm still finding my feet with these sounds which are excellent sound quality wise. Very expressive as well..

The arrangement technique described above is a way to get a lot of different sounds exposed without too many voices getting in the way of one another.. each of the 2 main voices are shared by groups 4 sounds in the first track and 3 sounds in the second track...

Really enjoyable, nice rhythmical patterns with the claydrum-like sounds, music for an abstract fantasy film maybe...

Thanks for the compliments Simon..

Here's another Track using The Vase soundset for Alchemy. 8 sounds, the deep and high percussive clay vase sound is fed into Trash 2 and Valhalla room. Otherwise no external effects. The composition has been composed/constructed using Numerology Pro 3.

Hi, I've just been working with the Soundset MetaVox for Alchemy. I also used some of Simons sounds for Chromaphone, and Filterscape effects. These additional sound sources were used; AAS Ultra Analog 2, Blofeld, Wavestation AD. Valhalla Room. Composed/mixed using the Beta of Numerology Pro 4

Thanks Simon for a great soundset!
