Hey All -- maybe this is obvious but in the structure tab, it doesn't seem to care what I set the beats per measure to. It is always 4/4 regardless of whether I set 3 beats/5/7 per measure. To reproduce:
1 - new composition
2 - structure tab/ set beats per measure to i.e. 7
3 - hit H to generate chords for the default 1/4/5/1
4 - everything is still 4/4 -- even metronome, etc
Does this setting not have an effect? I expected it to generate according to the beats per bar. If it's not setup to do this, how is this setting supposed to work? Thanks!

Hi solar28,
actually it has an effect. If you set "Measure.Beats.ticks" as the timebase, the labels on the timeline will change and the metronome will produce a louder tick on strong beats.
The master track chords are at absolute positions, so they won't be rearranged if you change the "beats per measure" setting.
It would be a good idea (and I added this to my to-do list) that when you drop a phrase generator on a track, it should set its length according to the "beats per measure" setting.
