Hi, everybody!

I have problem when I imported my midi file into Pro Tools... I exported my song from keyboard, and when I import it in PT, always have problem with channel number 2 (bass channel). It hasn't sound, or it skipped by protools. I do properly midi routing from my keyboard since it is working good when I imported this same file in Cubase 5.

It is interesting stuff, for me because I always have trouble with channel number 2 in Pro Tools, while it is normaly works in Cubase! (I am not Cubase user).

I doubt on maybe wrong settings in preferences of midi setup, but I am clueless again...All channels working fine, except always channel number 2!

I must mention when I try to solo any channel, also, I haven't any sound on any channel! It is so strange.
But when I playback all at once, it normaly plays and hear all the sounds except sound on 2. channel (bass). It is behaving like it is not exist!

Have someone any idea or advice how to solve this situation? I am confused really.

Thank you!

you'd need to describe exactly what you're doing, and what is happening before we stand a chance of helping. for example, you say you're importing midi and it doesnt make a sound but midi doesnt make sounds in the first place, you have to route it to a synth for that to happen. but youve said nothing about what you're sending your midi to.

You're right.

I made several instrument track (Kontakt), and I put it on every track, different instruments with different channel (drums are assigned to channel 10 for example, bass is channel 2, strings are assigned to channel 1 etc. :
