There is a little dissonance, but I don't think there is enough to preclude this from Soundtrack use. I was definitely getting some Japanese vibes from this piece, especially in the first minute. I liked that drumkit.

The pluck at the start fits really well, and the jazz percussions are soft and nice.
Also the piano gives definetively a Japanese style.

Nicely done, I detected an oriental vibe as well, which was interesting. The dissonance at the end adds to the track!
