Hi i have started creating patches for TAL BassLine-101 and currently got a collection of 32 patches.

here is the download for the patches (currently 32):

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/532 ... on%201.zip

To install the patches you could copy the included folder (called "Ingo Weidner") to your presets folder. You could open the presets folder easily with "Show presets folder") from the presets menu in the GUI.

All patches contain a category at the beginning of the patch name. Categories are: BS = Bass, BR = Brass, KY = Keys, LD = Lead, PD = Pads + Strings, SY = Synth/Polysynth

UPDATE:
I just created a PDF with screenshots and a very short description for all 32 patches:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/532 ... 7.2013.pdf

UPDATE (13.07.2013):
My patches are added to the TAL website now:
http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-bassline-101

UPDATE (23.07.2013):
Here is the current version of my BassLine-101 patches (52 patches) with some patches that are "work in progress":

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/532 ... 7.2013.zip

--------------------------------

For some of the patches the free TAL Chorus-LX (or another Chorus/ensemble FX) is recommended, especially for the pads and some of the Brass sounds:

Download for TAL Chorus-LX: http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-chorus-lx

I sent the patches to Patrick so it is possible that they could be either uploaded to the website or be part of the next update soon.

--------------------------------

Other members are free to post their free BassLine-101 patches in this thread too.

Have fun,
Ingo

Audio Demos:

1.) Here is a demo of a Synth Brass patch from the patches in the download:
TAL Bassline-101 - Synth Brass Demo 01

This is a single instance of Bassline-101. The only external FX used is the TAL Chorus-LX plugin (Mode I, Dry/Wet = 30%, Stereo = 70%).

This audio demos could be also found here:
http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-bassline-101

-----------------------

2.) I have assiged most of the parameters of BassLine-101 to my Korg NanoKONTROL controller to do some "Live" tweaking (quite long track, around 7:56 mins):

TAL Bassline-101 - Sequencer Improvisation 01

This is a single instance of TAL BassLine-101.

As external FXs the free TAL-Dub-3 Delay and PSP NobleQ (EQ) were used.

-----------------------

3.) I started doing some tracks/demos that only use Roland synth emulations and also Roland FXs were possible.

The first track of that kind is based on TAL BassLine-101, Xils Lab V+, Arturia Jupiter 8V 2.5 and Pink Noise Studio Deeplight for Kontakt (length 9:45, Lead sound starts at around 1:50):

Journey To The Land Of Ro - Part I

The track is recorded "Live" which means no overdub and also no further editing afterwards.
External FXs used: TAL Chorus-LX, TAL Dub-3 Delay, Arts Acoustic Big Rock Phase Shifter, ValhallaVintageVerb Reverb.

-----------------------

4.) I created a track based on "Air" by J.S. Bach using 3 instances with patches included in that zip file:
TAL Bassline-101 - Air

External FXs used:
TAL Chorus-LX for the Strings + Horn and ValhallaVintageVerb Reverb at the master bus.

-------------

More demos should follow.

Cool. nice to hear this. :)

I am somehow "addicted" to Synth Brass sounds and they are included in any of my free and commercial soundsets. This started when i owned a Jupiter 8 and an Oberheim Matrix 1000 several years ago.

I guess I dig classic synth brass patches because they remind me of my childhood where I watched those classic 70ies Sci-fi movies which never came without them (and never without the Moog bread and butter bass).. ;)

I just created a PDF with screenshots and a very short description for all 32 patches:

I had changed the name of one patch and updated the patches with that change too (the patch itself was not changed).

Hi,

in fact it was quite fast. Purchased the synth on Saturday...

I got a "little" experience in synth programming which was helpful to do those that fast.

Anyway the next patches will take a little longer. When i start with doing patches for a new synth i am usually quite fast at the beginning and later i struggle with each additional patch.

Hello Ingonator...

Thanx for work, i will spread this one facebook... You mentioned in a other thread that Patrick and me haven't posted here for a long time, that's true and sorry for that, but we both were hard working on a lot of stuff, that's the main reason for not online here at the KVR forum the whole day... We concentrate us more on stuff which will be released in the future but be sure, that we see all the problems you people have, Patrick is always fixing bugs...

Keep up the good work...

Hi Frank,

many thanks for your kind words and nice to see you back at the TAL forum. :)

I sent Patrick an email with the patches but did not get a reply yet. I'll resend it including the PDF file and a link to this thread.

Hopefully i could update my patches with some more soon.
