Hi together,

I'm in here since May 2004, diggin into Music stuff since 1987.
Like any other artist I've made many pieces of music which I threw away or I said "yeah, I'll finish it in the near future..." and things like that. :?

But that's the past. What now?

I decided to go the other way round and finally released the first track on youtube.

Circumflex & Efate - Wir fliegen

Please, give me some comments and - if you like it - spread it out on the www / social media :D

Cheers,

Michat

Some additional info:

almost everything is done itb,
except STEM-mixdown on a 24 Channel 8-Bus analog mixer and
buscompression with sidechaining.

And: from the idea to final mastering everything is done in my 9 sqm homestudio

:D

more info:

the main vocals are only processed with EQ and dynamics.

Love it. Has a lot of potential to become famous in germany. Ends on a bit of a cliffhanger tho, whats up with the pop up?

Which synths did you use?
Finally!

Hi cyphersuit,

thanks :D

The synths are single cylce waves from analog synths (mostly ARP2600) patched and filtered in Kontakt,
the theme is a sample from my last album, mangled through a selfbuilt reaktor algo. This sample was also built from analog synth single-cylces.
The synth in the bridge is a SQ8L VSTi (from buchty.net. Rainer, I LOVE it :) )

Nice song!

The vocals could be a bit more various (with a melody), they sound quite monotonous. But I like the vibe of the song and especially the lyrics!

Good work! :D

I really like this - great sound, and a well-made video too. Excellent!

I'm a bit torn. When I heard the first verse I thought "wow, that's really cool and could totally go into the German charts". But the chorus isn't that great IMO. I was somehow expecting an awesome climax, something really catchy and powerful. But it doesn't really deliver, neither sound-wise nor in the vocals or the lyrics. The overall composition isn't too varied, either.

Overall it's a nice track and certainly far better than anything I've come up with ;)

Edit: I've subscribed to your channel, so keep 'em coming :D

Thanks all for your feedback.

I hope to upload some more soon.

I think this is exceptional.

No offense, but I don't think you really need to ask people's opinions here on KVR.

You have something very special that very few people manage to achieve. No good will come of it asking for thoughts here.

Just keep on doing what you do. The production is really great, but the songwriting and arrangement is even better.

There must be a better way to promote your music, forget about KVR as an outlet.

Try sending your stuff to internet radio stations such as http://hirschmilch.de/ and others.

There you will reach thousands of people that want to listen to your type of music, not just a few hundred at KVR, of which only a few will reply to complain. It's not a venue for you. You won't ever win.

I'm enough of an advanced producer that I can tell that what you do is exceptionally good. Anyone telling you to change anything is just a distraction. Believe me, you don't need advice - you need promotion. Junk KVR and get with the Internet radio stations.. they will promote your stuff and the people that like it that go 'WTF was that-where can I buy it?', will seek you out, so make sure you have a channel at bandcamp or something and you will take a good cut. Forget about shit like spotify and itunes - don't lower yourself. There are outlets where you can make money.

Read everything you can from http://www.analogindustries.com/

Chris Randall is a good businessman without being a whore. He makes exceptional music too, but he knows how not to waste his time.

Really, KVR is not the forum for stuff like this. Go into the big music world.

Your stuff is exceptionally good. No need to change anything at all. What you just did is an international no.1 best seller. You just need to become part of the machine, which unfortunately isn't very nice at the moment. But there are no alternatives are there?

cheers.

I really couldn't improve on the last comment, but this song is very good. The synths sound great as does your voice and the video is pro, too. Good luck and much success to you..

I wouldn't of sold nearly as many songs if it wasn't for iTunes. They sell more music than anyone else. Do not ignore iTunes LOL you get a very big percentage of what you sell too.
