I wanted to ask what you use?, and generally why?.

At the moment I was going to get the istudio where it encompasses everything into one package. Then I got thinking I got a otterbox case and a powered usb hub and plug a nanokontrol, usb keyboard, nanopad2 and even an audio interface but it means more clutter.

So who uses what?:)

I voted for dock, but actually like both, and both have their places.
The IO Dock is good in the studio and live due to the input/output options.
The CCK is good for composing on-the-go with a usb keyboard.

I use the camera kit. Why? Because it's cheaper and more flexible, and I'm broke.

surprisingly Tascam IU2

I only need to remember to plug-in midi and start apps in the right order and not start charging before connecting and all works very stable.

does not work with lightning though, so I am screwed if I update, but don't think I will, as guess what... I am broke as well lol

I went to pick fish but it was missing, so I picked cck.

Dock seems sketchy with new iPad connectors and form factors not locked in to remain the same.

I suppose if you're gonna keep an ipad2 around....

Same with products like Numark's iDJ Pro.
