I really like this app and now there's some movement on the developer's side to add some value to this app. Still no "roll your own" utilities, but it's a start.

Has anyone tried any of the 3 loop libraries?
Any feedback on useability?

I can't be the only person who likes this app.

Anybody?

It's a fun toy, but I want to be able to use my own samples/loops.
I combine it with the launchkey ( and other apps, but syncing is a pain ).

Agreed, but I'm happy with baby steps on Novation's part.

I think they are testing the iOS waters to see who bites what. If we show interest in this app, maybe they will open it up for us eventually.

I disagree, they should move faster.
Atm. I only use it, like I said before, as a fun toy.
For more serious stuff I turn to iElectribe / Dm1 / Funkbox / etc.

What I think is strange in the iOS scene: Barely anyone reviews apps, in the google playstore almost everyone comments. Bit weird imo.

GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY.

In the app there's a "STORE" button to get the info on IAPs. There is a tab that says something like - "Coming soon, import your own samples" so yeah. There's that.
You can also play a demo song for each pack. Well done demo for the Downtempo pack.

I downloaded the "Downtempo" pack and the samples are mostly very nice (99%). There's a lot of diversity here as far as samples from all sorts of sources. Just about all samples are appropriate for downtempo as well as higher bpm grooves.

More good news.
Launchpad has opened up the app for importing your own loops from Dropbox.
As long as you're willing to pay the IAP price. Which is about $7 IIRC.

I bought it immediately, works fine with some loops I tried. Nice! :)
