After spending nearly a whole day tweaking and twerking with Cream ... I thought of a feature suggestion I think would take it to the next level as far as operator comfort.

I'd like to see this.

1. Each sequencer has it's own color ... maybe the CC's could all be the same.

2. Where the row of blue block steps on/ off sit at the bottom of the column in each sequencer, underneath show the pattern's sequencer off on blocks for any other sequencer that has any change.

For example if Order is blue, use red for Length, green for Chord Memory in additional rows right under the blue step on/ off row.

This would make it very workable to immediately and exactly see the relationship of steps in each sequencer to one another.

3. To much real estate? Have a drop down arrow like for the keyboard.

4. It would be nice at the end of those rows if there was a reset pattern on/ off button for each row.

5. It would be fantastic if the rows also showed their cycling in the different colors at the rows at the bottom ... just getting brighter like the ones that show 'on' as they cycle across and then past those 'on' positions.
;
What the heck! It never hurts to ask.

Hi,

1. I understand and agree that using different color in each track would be nice addition. The problem is which color to choose. They should match the background blue.

I don't understand rest of the requests though. Can you draw a picture so my dumb mind can see what you are seeing in here :)

You could provide a right click colour swatch board with a useful, but limited, amount of colours to choose from.

You could have just the 'on/ off' step switches at the bottom of each column in the sequencer colored?

I'll try once more with words to describe what I mean.

Look at the interface with Order open.

You certainly see the row of 'on/ off' block switches at the bottom, yes?

Now imagine another panel right below the Order sequencer window that is exactly as wide, but much narrower.

In this panel would be a matrix of small blocks about the size of the ones for ChordMem.Across would be 32 steps and vertically one for each different sequencer.

So there would be a row for each sequencer. It would only contain the 'on/off' blocks, each in a different color, which would be the same as the color given to each 'on/ off' switch for that sequencer.

If the switch is 'on' then that block would be lit ... a brighter shade of the respective color. When Cream runs, the cycling through each sequencer would be displayed in the respective row by a brief illumination ... similar to what you see now in each sequencer's window when the little flash of blue light cycles through.

At the end of his panel could be a button or two, particularly one to turn on or off reset at pattern start for each sequencer.

What this would do is give an overview off what all the sequencers are doing while you work in any particular sequencer window. It would make it easier to use the sequencers together in a musical way.

If my work picture here still doesn't explain, please tell me and I will try to create a graphic to illustrate.

Thanks for listening!
