Greetings KVR
After so many years with so many lovely flame wars isn't it about time we start to formalize the discipline and at least provide newcomer trolls with a list of good flame war titles? I think it would be a great and friendly gesture that shows that there is room for everybody at KVR. Maybe the list could even be sticky under site stuff, who knows?
I propose we make a rule that says only one title pr. poster so all can have a saying on this. Choose your own favourite may it regard hardware, software, daws, loudness wars etc. I will start with an old classic and leave the more sophisticated to those with greater experience.
1. Should I buy a MAC or a PC for music production?
Cheers

For me there were too many flamewars recently. I would prefer to finally discuss some topics SERIOUSLY.
Anyway concerning PC vs Mac for me currently PCs with Win7/Win8 will win easily...
I also confess i love Ableton Live 9 no matter what other say about it. Not to forget i love Tone2 and Xils Lab synths (two companies which some people love to start flame wars about...)
Finallly i also admit that besides softsynths i like real analog synths and YES i think that some of them (not all as there are also "weak" hardware synths) still sound better than software even if software has improved a lot (and in few case like e.g. Monark are on par).
Enough topics for flame wars i guess but as my opinion for those is settled participating in the discussion will not make much sense for me i guess...
