If I remember right, I read somewhere that they will first provide it for phones and only later - in october ? - for ipad ...

Not according to the zealots at Macnn.

I'll probably update right away, especially since a jailbreak is rumoured to follow soon after. I'm getting tired of sites defaulting to "mobile", or worse, "tablet" view. I'm tempted to jailbreak just to stop some of that.

Sucks though that the iWork apps are not free for current users.

Will hang fire for quite a while on this one.

As I understand it it breaks Sonoma Audio Copy Paste and while there is a fix it needs updates from each Developer before their app works with it.

and anyway I like skeuomorphism

and not so keen on the flat pastel look of ios7.

The new iPhone 5S CPU performance is very close to a 2009 Core2Duo running at 2 GHz. I think it's pretty impressive for a mobile device like that.

Moving to 64bit is a necessity if you want your iDevice to handle more RAM then it currently is capable of. And if you use iDevices in your music production, you would want that. So yea..what's the joke?

IOS 7 coming out 9/18/13---Ya'll in?
