The next version of Auria (coming soon) will be inter-app host compatible...

It will be huge. Here is the list of some apps that support it just few hours after release:

I am sure many more will follow very, very soon

Much nicer implementation than audiobus, so does this kill audiobus now?. I can't see how it an survive, maybe for people with 6.1.3 firmware still.

AmpliTube also supports inter-app audio as a "filter" app. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?item_id=2899
Comparisons to other tools aside, completely on its own merits, as it grows it certainly is going to become something really powerful for sure.

Are there any instructions anywhere on how to do this?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:AmpliTube also supports inter-app audio as a "filter" app. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?item_id=2899

And can it then record into the recorder within.amplitube?

I believe the big limitation is that you can only use one instance of an IAA at a time... Currently.monsterism wrote:Much nicer implementation than audiobus, so does this kill audiobus now?. I can't see how it an survive, maybe for people with 6.1.3 firmware still.

Rim, (forum moderator over at Auria) has some facts about its use. Several useful threads, even for non-Auria users.

According to a post on Discchord from the dev of nlog there's no limit to the number of IAA app nodes other than system resources.

Simply brilliant and no more launching AudioBus just to get job done.BiancaNeve wrote:According to a post on Discchord from the dev of nlog there's no limit to the number of IAA app nodes other than system resources.

An update to Tabletop with inter-app audio support is on its way.BiancaNeve wrote:Seen several synth nodes now, does anyone know a host?

I believe audiobus will do well if they become great at organization and innovation. Create easy ways to save MULTIPLE apps into snapshots of chains. Integrate great wireless midi and audio. They're smart guys, they'll be fine.

Always liked Tabletop, but not that it was so closed.
And the way auria will be treating other synths and effects is awesome. Almost like a normal daw...
