Hello,

we've just released our first iOS app. It's a collaborative music studio for the iPad. The idea is to enable multiple users to share a single iPad for ad hoc jamming sessions. The app works in 1, 2 and 4 user modes.

Looks really good. And, just to add, judgin by the video below it definitely seems to be a pretty comprehensive and fun groove machine wether you're using it alone, or with a bunch of dudes around the iPad (so it's not strictly a co-op thing, a la Fingerlabs Rockmate, since you change the interface to single person use) :

It doesn't seem to support pasteboard transfer or audiobus. Is that the case? If so, can we expect this in future updates?

Yes, this is the bread butter of Cotracks. It's designed to allow very flexible sessions. Basically, you can just have Cotracks on the table all day and you (or anybody) can jam with whoever happens to be around. And it's definitely designed to give you more than just the 5 minute high that many over simplified apps do.

Yes and yes. We needed to focus on the collaboration aspect so hard that adding support for some "standard" features had to be postponed. I personally have the strongest belief that ACP and audiobus is something that all of our users will want. We've decided to take some user feedback before taking on the task of adding major features. Hm. I never thought about using death threats against devs before. But it does seem to work. Ima keep that in mind. I don't know any hitman tho, only ninjas.: (

Great app. The collaborative feature in real time is unparalleled, and people who make music with other people on a computer/device usually have to take turns (except for Ohm Studio) at the helm.

Latency issues over AirPlay... Any way to adjust?
