That is because you spend so much time on KVR

I guess those synths pose a psychological problem, they have too many controls, that discourages people from actually opening and using them. Just my 2 cents...

I bought the 'Backlist Bundle' a couple of weeks ago. An even better deal of $29.00 for three great synths.

How is the Alionoctis Pro different from the free version?

I love these synths and have many of the free versions installed along with the backlisters. (BTW, 'Serenity Pro' is an excellent compliment to other companies modelers like AAS String Studio VS1; AAS Chromaphone and Modelonia).

I've been trying to load up The Tiger and Astral Dreamer without success though.
(I've asked about them in your forum and await your reply there).

Anyway, downloading this is a 'no-brainer' and I highly recommend others to grab the 'Backlist Bundle' and get all three!

There really is some truth in it as they're not the most intuitive synths! On the other hand, that's what I like about HGFortunes synths, that there are so many controls and every synth has it's specials...spook controls or mystic controls or formant controls etc.

And what I LOVE on them is that they have LAZY buttons. Because sometimes I just click around the Lazy buttons to get some new inspirations. Not all sounds made with the Lazy buttons are that great but I still find some gems from time to time. And clicking Lazy buttons is kind of hypnotizing me...

They are 'hypnotic' and with the amount of patches included along with those 'Lazy Buttons' it is worth the price! There are sample libraries from othe VSTIs with far less sounds and not as much depth that cost a lot more.

How is the Alionoctis Pro different from the free version?

From Manual: The five voice free version is fully functional but does not prevail all features of the 10 voice registered Pro version

Also loading of SF2 is not suppoerted within the free version for all oscis.

Well, if these don't load then these are incompatible with your DAW for some reason which can't be fixed by myself due to the 3rd party dev environment used then.

From my FAQ page": When will there be 64Bit HGF plugins?
We are working hard on this but this will take time as we are aiming for a multiplatform 32/64 Bit solution supporting Win, Mac and probably later other platforms like iOS and Android too. This solution will basically work with optimized C++ code being compiled to dll, AU etc. So this will open a path for even more professional music tools i.e. plugins.

Several considerations led me to abandon the SynthEdit platform mostly because progress in development is too slow ...

Anyway I'm still grateful for having had a great time with SynthEdit in creating some real stunning and acknowledged plugins.
