Hi everyone,

I just bought GLITCH 2 and i was wondering how can we change scene via midi note in LOGIC 9.

I ve been struggling for a few hours to find the answer on internet but there is nothing about it.

-When i load Glitch as an effect (insert) on a midi track the is no way to trigger different scene via midi.

-When i load Glitch as an instrument on a midi track then i can control different scene with my keyboard. But then i cant load the instrument i want to use. eg : BATTERIE

I don t know if my explanation is clear.

If anyone know how to do it, please let my know.

Thanks.

This requires 3 tracks - one for Battery, one for Glitch, and one aux bus to send the audio from Battery to Glitch via the sidechain input.

Place Battery on a track. Set the output to Bus 1.

Place Glitch on a track as a MIDI Controlled FX unit.

One the Glitch channel, set the Side Chain input to Bus 1.

Peace
Andy.

WOWWWWWW, thank you so much.

IT WORKS NOW;

The only thing now is that there s a weird noise when the sample restart. like a beep. this noise is not a part of my drum kit.

Have you had this problem before ?

Thank you

No but I haven't tried this combination of plugins. Might be a bug in either Battery or Glitch, perhaps someone else can help or try contacting the developers.

Peace,
Andy.

Thanks for your help Andy

That beep isn't Glitch 2's Modulator? I've noticed that even when there's no sound coming from the instrument/sound clip, if you have Modulator (or Random, as it may be picking Modulator) set, it makes a beep.

Yes it is. I ve notice that today.
Thanks

Do you have any problem With glitch syncîng with your DAW ?
It seems that glitch doesn t sync With Logic playback.

I've not had any issues besides triggering changes live. But seeing all that Glitch 2 does, it's to be expected. That said, if I like a change that I've made, live, then I stop playback, and start it again.

I did have an issue where Glitch 2 didn't save all of the effect parameters between sessions, however those issues were resolved after updating to a newer release.

when I do this, I hear the original signal and the glitch signal but I only want to hear the processed FX???
