Ugo Rez 3 free soundbanks?

Hey guys, I'm a bit puzzled why there are no 3rd party banks for this synth...It sounds great, it looks great, it's free to get, and yet nobody has released presets for this one. Was it maybe out of respect for the developer (helping him to sell the 3 official banks)? I mean I see the synth itself was popular a couple of years back, and there are tons of banks for other freebies...so why not for this one as well?

IDK, but I agree that this is an awesome free synth. I think maybe it is just under appreciated? Or maybe not that many people know about it.

I think it came out at a time when amazing, affordable synths were starting to saturate the market. It's a great little synth, though.

Yeah, but still it's one of the better free synths available - I would have expected it to gather some fans among the freebies aficionados...plus there are a handful of banks for Rez 2, but not for this one...strange.Sendy wrote:I think it came out at a time when amazing, affordable synths were starting to saturate the market. A new skin for Rez 3 would also be good.
The GUI is not promoting workflow, it's too small, and it's difficult to read text.
I dunno why it must be so long, would be better to chop it in two and rather put one section on top of another, would make it more like a rectangle.

same thing for prodigious and before the OSC monofury a few graced us with copies of their presets here in the archive.
You would also think that there would be thousands for minimogue VA and Antitranspirant as well. Those 2 and Prodigious are the some of the best in terms of free lead synths. Voyager has a lot of presets and it rocks on leads, but it also sounds great on pads. Firebird now that it is free should also have tons more presets available. I hope more people start to design presets for Cycle by Amaranth that synth has a lot of potential.
I think a lot of KVRians who design sounds are more into pads than leads so that may be it. If a synth is primarily viewed as being for leads then it tends to get overlooked. Or maybe they just think for leads that you should splurge a little and buy a commercial synth.

Yeah, I don't get that...to me pads are uninteresting (actually the right word would be useless). To each his own I guess...yessongs wrote:I think a lot of KVRians who design sounds are more into pads than leads so that may be it.

I bought the soundsets from Ugo some time ago. Much nice stuff there.
But what I like about Rez 3 the most is the sequencer/arp, can really make some quite complex Berlin School type runs, and with the latch function, all with one finger
