Has anyone here ever hated their own music? I released a song recently which received positive reviews, but every time I hear it I cringe. I know its somewhat healthy to over critisize your work, but I actually physically cringe when I hear it.
Has anyone on here ever dealt with this issue?

I have quite discarded some if not most of my first ITB product, yes, it would be fairly cringetastic. The things I make now, no, I love it like nobody's business.
Actually I wrote around half of a guy's album back in the mid-nineties that was in one magazine's top ten of the year, that one guy loved it anyhow, and I totally would never listen to it. Mostly not my fault however, it was just botched in post.

Most of my electronic music makes me cringe. The pop tunes I do however, remind me of how much fun I had during the recording process, playing the guitar and singing. Even the bad stuff!
