Seriously pissed!
All of a sudden (some hours ago) the traffic to Leap Into The Void "Darker Than Dark Within Bloom" exploded. Followed the referring url's and found it on a wares site. Now with different links spread all over the place.
This is extremely depressing. Do they have any idea how much work that has been invested and put down when designing the soundset. Theres even a 50% bundle discount atm for crying out loud.
I wrote to the site admin asking for a removal and can only pray.

I have a seperate folder for emails to warez admins with letters...

Take down, or rather, get taken down what you can until you start to go insane. Then stop, and just concentrate on what you love to do...

Well from a fellow developer, I'll just say that I have watched this happen to our products for many, many years. So have 98% of the other developers around here.

Bottom line is that there are 3 types of people.....
1) Thieves - They would never buy yours or my products anyways.
2) Legitimate honest customers - whom we love and respect.
3)Dabblers/Collectors (with a sense of Karma ) - who may find our products via warez, and may eventually become legitimate honest customers.

It sucks to see our stuff out there for free... but regardless of that, there are a lot of "real" people who know it is out there, yet still support us.

Chances are in the long run you won't lose real customers over it.

Manytone is spot-on, except that probably 100% of us know that it's out there (or soon will be); it's something that a lot of us just plain ignore.

We choose to support people like yourself and Paul, because it's the right thing to do, because you guys matter.

If it makes you feel any better, I've spent about a grand this black-friday season on audio-related software, with absolutely no regrets.

I feel your pain.

For a while last year when you searched my production name in Google, the first sites that came up were warez sites. Fortunately Google seems to have improved their algo for screening out warez a little more (or at least it seems that way).

Here's the annoying part - I would create a track, upload to Beatport and then would be on a warez site the next day - despite the fact that I never gave a copy to anyone. It's depressing.

I try to be positive and look at it from the perspective that hopefully someone who steals my stuff will turn into a paying customer. Overly optimistic, perhaps - but you have to stay positive.

Mikael, just disregard it and carry on. Piracy can't be stopped and probably won't be for a long time to come, and there's no reason in fighting it - you'll just lose valuable time and energy.
