Will Cakewalk ever release a new version of Raputre?

Would you be interested in Cakewalk updating Rapture to a new version as they did to Z3Ta+?
This is a user question, but I may post the results to Cakewalk if it looks relevant.

Sure, why not.

Raputre?
I don't think Cakewalk will do it unfortunately. It is always on sale now, and the market is saturated with vst plugins.
I don't think they will invest money in making an update.

Really? Where is the market for it?
No one is going to rush out and buy a new version of this VSTi when it has been eclipsed by so much other stuff years ago.
I would think that it is not worth the development costs to them to bother upgrading it.

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

I believe there's a market for it. It's a great cpu friendly and unique sounding synth that deserves an update, at least to 64 bit on OSX with installers compatible with newer OS version than Snow Leopard.
The preset browsing mechanism could also use an update to something less cumbersome.
IMHO.

The weird thing is that they had a survey a few years ago asking what you would like to see in a new version of Rapture.
I replied and after that i heard nothing more about it.

Sure, but since Rene left Cakewalk I don't expect much out from them anymore. I was surprised when Zeta got a new ver.
Honestly rather than a new ver just a competent OSX release with an updated preset browser would have made a ton of people happy

Too be honest i like rapture more than dimension pro, people are always talking about dimension pro and i'm left wonder why no love for rapture, it reads and layers 6 SFZ instruments and has a wonderful selection of factory presets, some months back i bought session drummer 2, studio instruments, rapture, pentagon I, dimension pro all for 20 dollars, other than factory sounds they somewhat do the same things, rapture is what i like but it's mind-blogging me why nobody talks about rapture, i vote to move the upload size of the 20mb for maximum size to 30 megabytes, so i can upload all my presets and samples for sampletank, rapture, things that use samples like kontakt, unfortunately i have a lot to give but where ever i load sfz into rapture and layer a sfz instrument 3 times with the same instrument and save the preset it says 100mb, maybe it could be reduced in an update when using one sfz instrument 3 times, maybe it depends on the samples inside the actual sfz, i sample in fifths or chromatically, i would like to see sampled oscillators from synthesizers from the 70's and 80's to 90's synthesizer workstations like an expansion pack for rapture and dimension pro that is partial data and oscillators made to recreate sounds and using raptures feature settings and functions, maybe it;s a third party that makes this expansion pack, i would like to see drumkits for rapture, i import sfz's of drum kits to use the eq in rapture so its fun to use rapture this way, i want to see more expansions for rapture in the cakewalk shop from third parties and from cakewalk, i never noticed any change in cakewalk since roland sold it to gibson, maybe we'll see more stuff come from them with a new team of writers coding stuff.

being that i use Rapture in almost all my projects, and that i seem to have 1000s of presets, i think an update should have a way better browser/tagging system like NI Kore. currently, it is nearly impossible to find a sound
my newest sounds:

What's the question then, whether Cakewalk will release a new version of Rapture, or whether people would be interested in a update? Because i would answer one question with yes, and one with no.
I doubt Cakewalk will release a new version of Rapture. If then zeta 3.
