Yea, it's sad. Another great singer rest in peace.
It's kind of usual now, and sad every time, that the reggae greats are dying. Earlier this year it was Harry J who died of diabetes complications (like Junior Murvin appears to have died) and Cedric Brooks. Lloyd Charmers, King Stitt, Ranking Trevor, Lloyd Brevett last year, Gregory Isaacs a few years back.. It's so common one gets quite numb hearing the news.. On the other hand, it's wonderful that reggae music has so many iconic figures, and it's great that those stars are still born.
What makes it even more terrible is the reasons they die, diabetes related diseases, lung related, cancers, murder and violence, .. All should be wiped away by today.

Very talented singer obviously with his distinctive high vocal.. Too bad he didn't get to make a album each year. A lot of good stuff though, plenty to go through and carry inspiration for the future generations.
Here's a up-close-and-personal 2007 clip from the making of one of his last recordings, a compilation at Earl Chinna's yard, featuring his classic tune:
