First I cut up a Burberry shirt, glued it to some bass parts and lacquered it. That wasn't very good at all. Sold it to a friend who wanted to take up bass.

Second one was better, but the edges were terrible. I did use it live twice, then sold it.


Then I tried a different brand and . Still not right, though. Traded it for a future victim.

Fourth attempt and we're finally getting close enough for government work. I've threatened to make a sample set of this bass.


Then I did something for one of my singers. Less over the top.

But what I really wanted was a Burberry bass. So, with what was left of the jacket I cut up for the second one, I did this. Not a pro-quality finish but I'm finally content.


Then for no good reason other than inertia, I did this with what I got in trade for the Armani.

I will sum it up by quoting somebody on a hip-hop forum: "like guitars Lil Wayne would pretend to play".
