I know this sounds stupid, but I can't figure out where RC has put my compositions. Originally I set up a file path in a separate hard drive, but when I go to those files in Mac Finder, the folders are there but nothing will open. Everything is either greyed out or I get "there is no application to open this file."
Where is the Menu option in RC to open or save a file/composition? The last thing I was working on automatically loads on opening RC, but I don't want to work on that one, I want a previous comp. How to get to it?
I set the Custom Phrases file path on the same hard drive as the application, but wanted to put compositions on a separate drive. Is that a problem?
Where are my files saved?

Hi
i am on pc but,
according to user guide page 5 , default location:
INSTALL: MAC OS X
Open the .dmg file, and drag the RapidComposer Application to your Applications folder. The settings file and the chords/
scales/etc. databases can be found in ~/Documents/RapidComposer
i think your files must be there

Nope, not there either. Just history folders & individual numbered files that are full of code &/or ascii characters. When I try to open an RCcomp file, I get "there is no application to open this file." Then it tells me to "choose application" but RC is not available to choose!

Hi mbira1,
it is best to open composition files from inside RC. Please use the first icon from the left:

Here you can find templates and recent compositions too.
