How To Generate Rests With Schillenger's Interference

I figured out a way to generate rests using the Schillenger's Interference Rhythm Generator.

1st: Go to the Track Inspector and select Variation. You see that there are three slider bars below 'Expression' for Strong, Medium and Weak Accent value. These values are velocities. Set the Weak Accent to Zero.

2nd: In any Phrase Generator where it's included ... Melody and Chord anyway ... select Schillenger's Interference for the Rhythm Generator.

3rd: Generate your phrase. While all notes will be shown in the grid within the Phrase Generator window, all the generated 'Weak Accent' notes will be silent. So, if you preview the phrase you will hear where rests have been placed.

4th: You can vary this by selecting different accent values between weak (the rests), medium and strong for Pulses 1 to 3 until you find something you like.

This is an 'experimental' method for 'generating and tweaking' until you hear something you want to keep.

I've asked Atilla if it would be possibly to ether give different colors to the notes generated by the three different pulses; or, alternatively to have the notes reflect their velocity values by going from dark to light ... so you could also see the rest note as well as hear it. Maybe he might come up with an even more elegant solution ... but this is pretty cool for now!

I greatly enjoy being able to set rests using the variation inspector, which I've found most effective using the track variation instead of the phrase for rhythmic consistency ... but to be able to generate them at the phrase level as well is really great.
Help! I've fallen up and can't get down!
