Can't play from Program Mode

Just bought a K2500RS, with 3.02. and an external SCSI drive. No KDFS. I can load .KRZ files into the 2500 and see them in the Program Mode. But when I play its still the files in Setup mode. I tried a hard reset and loaded files into 200, 300, 400, and then selected them with the numeric keys, and they show up in the Program listing, but still is playing from the Setup voice list.
Loaded new object files OBJ350, and installed 3 new PLD's Ver 9 but still not able to play from Program Mode. Is this something simple?
