Hey all,
With my band I want to take our show to the next level and incorporate video into our show.
Either with a projector and a bunch of cheap flat screen TVs synced together.
I have a couple of questions. I've been googling, but I just dont' know the right lingo to ask the questions I'm looking for.
1. Is there a projector that has a real wide projection in small distance. Say something like 5 feet? Basically the projector would have to be above the drummer projecting onto a screen in the back. We don't usually have tons of room on the stage.
2. If we can't use a projector, then maybe 4-5 TVs synced together to show the same type of image.
3. What VJ software do you recommend?
The drummer plays to a click, we use live to trigger our lights. I know I can use rockvid to show some video, but I'm afraid my mac won't be able to handle all the synths, FX, lights... and the video.
I plan on syning another computer, prefer a PC to ableton and use it to control the video. I'm also ok with doing this with on IOS device.
Any tips, hints, suggestions?
Thanks,
dw
