Sampling of Robert Henke's music. Falls under the categories of experimental-bass-minimal. Not everyone's taste (though it's mine).

Interesting to see what one of the creators of an iconic music app (Ableton Live) uses his own work for.

Lots of great and somewhat unusual deep stuff (mostly d&b, dub, bass, electronica, deep house) on the Surus family of labels...

When I was new to synths and electronic music in general, Monolake was basically what got me into "electronic music that isn't Deadmau5." I was already interested in ambient music through some of the side projects of my favorite atmospheric metal bands, and discovering the minimal/ambient techno/dub/etc genre blew me away. One of my favorite artists overall now and a large inspiration to my current synth work.
